I met John Bull during that 1048 stint and he and I bonded quickly over our love of vintage Jazz and Blues and we played together in various combos upwards of 10 years. Lots of good memories. This particular outfit was a real joy. Not only did I get to work with on of my punk rock idols(the late Matt Kimbrell on drums) I played with what I consider the greatest musician I've ever worked with RW Grigsby. This guy is great and has played with pretty much every living blues star out today. Recorded this one at Strident Trax with Cope Till.
